I expect not many of you know I blew the Skoda up last September and it's still not back on the road.... Only because I am building it up to the kind of spec good for over 300bhp anyway.

This is my current runabout - belongs to the mechanic doing the work on my car, and was off the road over winter (until I got my mitts on it for long term borrow.....) Like driving it and despite the usual camp connotations, it's a real driver's car and I will be sad when I hand it back. I am starting to come round to the RWD way of thinking. Best bit is this is one of the first 1.8s, so 130bhp and LSD.





and yeah, already helped the owner out by treating it to a spruce up and machine polish.....
